As per Government Order No. 321–HOME (ISA) of 2026 issued on June 1, 2026, all Yatra routes—including Pahalgam and Baltal—have been declared a ‘No Flying Zone’ from July 1 till completion of the Yatra.

Therefore, helicopter services will remain suspended during this period for Shri Amarnathji Yatra (SANJY) 2026.

Pilgrims planning to visit the Holy Cave Shrine should make alternate arrangements such as trekking or avail the services of ponies and palkis.
